Shashank, Krishnudu, Vimala Raman and Archana are the star cast of the movie Kullu Manali. Kullu Manali is a murder Mystery which was released in theaters on the 9th of March. The movie is directed by Vegesna Satish and produced by Chandarsekhar Boppana. The music is composed by Sri Vasanth.
Story line:
The movie starts with a group of friends Krishnudu and Shashank leaving their respective homes for a trip to Kullu Manali. The trip which is supposed to be joyous turns to be a horrific nightmare. They have a hooded psychopath who is killing their friends one by one. With no clue on how to get out of this mess they take help from Inspector Vimala Raman and Guide Harsh Vardhan. As they try their best to unravel this mystery of the Killer on loose they realize that this is a result of a few misdoings of their past. With the friends groping their way through this misery the killer gains time and starts to kill them one by one. Inspector Vimala Raman also finds the story of the dark past of the friends. Will this mad psychopath succeed in his motive? Will the friends manage to give him a slip? Will the inspector catch the killer in time? All these questions are answered in the second half of the movie.
Positive Aspects of the movie:
Actor Vimala Raman and Archana have done their roles justice. They have brought in the Glam factor and have showed some rocking dance moves. Shashank has also acted well. Harsha Vardhan and Vinay Mohan are also ok one can’t say that the comedy was an asset to the movie. They all seem to have done well but it looks like the roles scripted for them were not good enough. They did not manage to tap their acting potentials.
Drawbacks’ of the movie:
The movie is nothing but an assault to ones senses. The movie does not come anywhere near the fact of entertainment. The story seems like an outright copy of Hollywood movie. The screenplay is a shame and the way the characters have been scripted is a total failure. The story has endless loose ends. The songs are ill timed and the mystery part which should be scary and hair rising actually turns a bit comical. It leaves the audience’s head muddled with thoughts as to whether they should be scared or should have a good laugh.
Technical Team:
The cinematography is just about average and so is the background music. The editing department seems to have made a complete miss with their work. The dialogues also were another failure and failed to add any charm to the characters.
The Final Say:
The movie Kullu Manali is nothing but an utter waste of precious time. It is a movie which brings you a splitting head ache and leaves you with a bad hangover. You may actually need to carry your own stock of a headache pill if you plan to watch it. Now if you are sane enough and have no plans to feel sick you may as well as take a refreshing walk and watch any other movie even if you have seen it umpteen times before.
