Racha music review @ wow! movi
Ram Charan Tej is getting back to the big-screens with Sampath Nandi directed Racha after taking a long gap from Orange release. Produced by NV Prasad and Paras Jain under Mega Super Good Films banner with RB Chowdary as presenter, Racha has Fair beauty Tamanna as the heroine. The filmmakers had used Melody King Mani Sharma’s services for rendering the tunes for Racha.
Music director Mani Sharma has scored 5 songs for this commercial mass entertainer album. Checks out Racha music review on way2movies.
1.Racha — 3.75/5
Singers : Deepu & Chorus
Lyrics : Chandrabose
The album opens with the title track Racha Racha… and by now, it has turned familiar to one and all as it has been leaked a month ago. It turned out to be the instant hit among mega fans. Singer Deepu has done a good job in keeping up the momentum of the song with tremendous energy. The prelude builds the right tempo and it had the good, fast beats that give ample scope for Ram Charan to showcase his dance. Chandrabose has yet again penned powerful lyrics to impress the fans. His lyrics elevate heroism to the lead characterization the song gives lot of scope for shaking legs by the Mega Power Star. Go For it !!!
2.Vaana Vaana (Remix) — 2.5/5
Singers : Rahul Nambiar, Chaitra
Lyrics : Bhuvanachandra
Ever since there has been buzz about this Chiru-Vijayashanti’s magical romantic song remix in Racha, the expectations among the fans had sky-rocketed and this turned to be most awaited one.
However, the remix was a disappointment to all the fans. While the beats are good, the singers are certainly not the right choice for the remix track. The remix version is bland lacked original quality and is in no comparable to original song by any means. Hope it will not disappoint visually.
3.Dillaku Dillaku — 3.25/5
Singers : Tippu, Geetha Madhuri
Lyrics : Chinni Charan
Dillaku Dillaku is fast beat racy duet that has good mass beats with Mani Sharma trademark style. Chinni Charan has penned mass lyrics such as miluku miluku silaka, Konidela vaari koduka, Kotha Pelli koduka et al that will gel well with the targeted audiences. Tippu and Geetha Madhuri’s high pitch vocals elevated the spirit of the song. Expect some good number of fast beat steps from Ram Charan and Tamanna on-screens. For the mass song lovers!!!
4.Oka Paadam — 3/5
Singers : Hemachandra, Malavika
Lyrics : Chandrabose
A medium paced duet song in classy style crooned by Hemachandra and Malavika while the former was very energetic and stylish while singing this number, the latter was at her usual best. Chandrabose lyrics are interesting. The multi-instruments used in the song along with the clapping sound in the background are good but this is Mani Sharma routine duet kind of number. This song is enjoyable by the audiences in general.
5.Singareni Undhi — 3/5
Singers : Sukhwinder Singh, Sahiti
Lyrics : Suddala Ashok Teja
Singareni Undhi is yet another number tuned in mass style. Looks like this is the last song of the film and is focused more to showcase the dancing talents of Ram Charan and Tamanna. The track moves with steady rhythmic beat throughout to make dancing pleasurable. Sukhwinder Singh and Sahiti infused high energy for crooning the mass track. Suddala Ashok Teja’s lyrics are pretty mediocre. A danceable number for the masses.
Verdict:
Ram Charan’s previous albums Chiruta, Magadheera and Orange turned out to be good hits and Racha lies below comparatively. Mani Sharma scored a mediocre album playing it safe with fast beat mass numbers. The title track of the film is too good while the Vana Vana remix is a huge disappointment. Dillaku, Singareni undi are highly energetic mass numbers though routine kind. All in all, Mani Sharma has gone routine.
