Film: Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum
Starring: Rana,Nayanatara
Director: Krish
Producer: Saibabu Jagarlamudi, Y Rajeev Reddy
Banner: First Frame Entertainments
Music: Mani Sharma
Mani Sharma who has recently composed a decent album Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu has now come up with another soundtrack that looks promising though lacks in melody a bit. The album has traces of Bollywood hit number "Emotional atyachaar" in one of the songs.
The soundtrack has seven songs including one instrumental version. Hemachandra, Shravan Bhargavi and Sai Madhav Burra have sung two songs, while Narendra Shreya Ghoshal, Rahul, Deepu, S.P Balasubramanyam, Chaitra, Raghu Babu and Joanna have sung one song each.
The first song in the album, "Ararey pasi manasaa" is a heroine-worship song by Narendra and Shravan Bhargavi. Although this number has a good mix of instruments ranging from dhol to strings to synthesizer, the song doesn't have a catchy tune to attract attention. Lyrics by Sirivennela are apt to the context of the song.
"Sye andre nannu" is energetically crooned by Shreya Ghoshal, Rahul and Deepu. The opening of the song is very catchy, but what follows sounds like a typical item number with mass-appealing lyrics by E.S Murthy.
The title track "Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum" has traces of Hans Zimmer's original score from "The Dark Knight". With powerful lyrics by Sirivennela and featuring voice of S.P Balasubramanyam, this number undoubtedly qualifies as the best song of the album. Together, they elevate this number to an all new level.
The orchestrated recurring background score is brilliantly carried forward by some inspiring Sanskrit lines. Mani intermittently uses a few instruments such as trumpet, strings, drums and pads.
"Spicy spicy girl", crooned by Hemachandra, Chaitra and Shravana Bhargavi, is a passable duet number with irritating English lyrics, occasionally played throughout. Mani has mixed music from many of his past albums and reproduced this song with a dash of western touch.
The fifth number in the soundtrack "Ranga marthanda" is a bad rip off of "Emotional atyachaar" from "Dev D". The song may appeal visually because it features the voice of comedian Raghu Babu, but it definitely doesn't impress when listened to.
"Chal chal chal", crooned by Sai Madhav Burra, has traces of the famous number "Eye of the tiger" from "Rocky". The opening few lines of the song sound so very close to the original number from the Hollywood hit film. This is another number from the soundtrack that barely impresses even for a second.
The last song "Parinamam" is a seven-minute-long instrumental version of the title track that may serve as the film's background theme.
Film: Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu

Power Star Pawan Kalyan, Puri Jagannadh combination film Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu audio has hit the markets and Mani Sharma provided the music. Pawan Kalyan’s previous film Gabbar Singh was a super blockbuster and a musical hit too and now, let’s find out how is the music of CMGR which is hitting the screens on October 18 for Dussera…  Checkout the music review of Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu on pulseleaks.com

1. Theme Song ---   3/5
Singers: Hemachandra, Karunya, Narendra, Chorus
Lyricist: Bhaskarbhatla
Unlike many albums CMGR opens off with Theme song. The tune is catchy but not refreshing though as it has the instances of Prabhas Billa song. Bhaskarbhatla’s lyrics elevate the main lead’s character which works for the track. Singers Hemachandra, Karunya, Narendra have done the good job with their powerful crooning. Rather than the audio, such songs create strong impact with the video.
2. Pillani Chuste  --  3.25/5
Singers: Karunya, Chaitra
Lyricist: Bhaskarbhatla
Karunya and Chaitra go behind the mike for this peppy number which is a typical Mani Sharma number. Pillani Chuste is the mix of western and mass beats that has a scope for dance. Bhaskarbhatla’s lyrics will gel with the masses. Well, let’s wait to watch how Pawan Kalyan and Tamanna impress us on-screen…
3. Jaramochindi    --  3/5
Singers: Kushi Murali, Shravana Bhargavi
Lyricist: Bhaskarbhatla
Jaramochindi is the item song of the film and has the potential to reach the masses. Lyrics are a bit funny and the song could stay longer with the listeners provided it impresses with the picturisation. Mani Sharma has composed it as a fast paced number with the folk touch and heavy drum beats giving scope for more dance moves. Shravana Bhargavi is totally impressive.
4. Extraordinary   -- 3.5/5
Singers: Hemachandra
Lyricist: Bhaskarbhatla
Next up is a western beats with traditional beats touch song Extraordinary with Hema Chandra behind the mike. Hema Chandra did an extraordinary job which has blended really well with a fresh composition sung. Bhaskarbhatla has penned the lyrics, and he has done his job well with a unique thought highlighting the word Extraordinary. However, the picturisation of the song makes more impact.
5. Melikalu   --- 3/5
Singers: Narendra, Geetha Madhuri
Lyricist: Bhaskarbhatla
Next on the playlist is Melikalu that has a mix of western with electronic beats, which is a lift from ‘Riva Riva Rivala Matha..’ number. Very entertainingly composed number and both the singers Narendra, Geetha Madhuri delivered their best. The beats are peppy and have the scope for dance.
6. Thaladinchaku   -- 3/5
Singers: Karunya, Hemachandra, Srikrishna, Narendra
Lyricist: Bhaskarbhatla
The message conveying song which seems to occur during the peak situation in the story. Bhaskarbhatla penned powerful words while ManiSharma’s tune is not innovative and lacks influence. Karunya, Hemachandra, Srikrishna, Narendra did an okay job.
Final Say
Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu [CMGR] has a peppy and entertaining numbers that go well with the youth and masses. But Mani Sharma’s tunes aren’t refreshing or innovative as it reminds you of his past works or other popular beats. However, the choice of singers is apt who have breathed life into the otherwise not so refreshing compositions. CMGR album will stay longer with the listeners if the picturisation is impressive. Give a listen!!!

Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Ileana D’Cruz, Anurag Basu’s Barfi! has captured the imagination and the interest of the fans of Bollywood the world over. I have to admit that this is the film that tops my list of movies I really truly cannot wait to see. In the film Ranbir has become Barfi, a charming and mischievous deaf/mute, who has the feel of Charlie Chaplain’s characters and Rowan Atkinson’s Mr. Bean, but of course his own cute, crazy, sweet self. Priyanka Chopra, in what seems to be a fabulous performance if the trailer is anything to go by, is Jhilmil an autistic woman who is Barfi’s friend… Also in the cast of characters is Shruti played by Ileana D’Cruz who Barfi falls for. Shruti narrates this heartwarming tale of selfless love and about finding happiness in the smallest things in life. Directed by Anurag Basu, Barfi! is set to open in theaters on September 14th.
After hearing the lovely music that played in the background of the fabulous Barfi! trailer I could not wait to hear the music for the film. Unfortunately that gorgeous instrumental is not on the album, but music director Pritam surprised me even more once I sat down to listen to the eight captivating tracks. Pritam certainly is trying out some new flavors to tell this tale and it so works. Let’s take a look at the sounds of Barfi!
Now usually whistling in a song really gets on my last nerve, but starting off the title track Barfi, it actually set the mood perfectly for the quirky song that was to come. You hear Mohit Chauhan in a totally different avatar than his full on rocker. This is just a light, bright song with some great instrumentation. Not at all what I expected, but I don’t think Barfi! is going to be anything we are going to expect either. I loved the middle stanza with the guitars backing up Mohit’s energetic, fun inflection. The music is very stylized and I really can’t set it to one genre because I feel that Pritam has taken in lots of influences – in a good way. For some reason I thought of Hawaii but maybe that is just me…anyway it is a great, chirpy track you should check out.
There is also a second version sung by lyricist Swanand Kirkire titled Ala Barfi. It has the same quirky music, but he has a different inflection with a little bit of a rougher tone. Not so “sung” as Mohit’s version and so that gives the song a different feel. In some sections, this is more pared down musically and more percussive but then in others it is more revved up with the addition of some cool musical sections that added to the funky sound. It is cheekier, I think, is all I can say and I enjoyed his rendition too. ‘Barfi’ and ‘Ala Barfi’ are probably not songs you will put on replay, but I think once seen in the film you will say ‘Ooooh okayyyy! Now I get it’. Then certainly you will find later that you will be sitting searching the Internet or editing an article and all of a sudden you will start singing oooohwayyyyyy. (Not that I did that). I see this track accompanying a nice montage of Ranbir ala Charlie Chaplain ala Mr. Bean being Barfi and I can’t wait.

The smooth with a bit of an edge vocals of Nikhil Paul George give the voice for the great Main Kya Karoon. Again a new sound from the composer, this one with a very modern flavor to it. I really wish I could I talk to Pritam to find out what went into his thoughts for these songs. There seems to be so many layers and flavors and they all work. You certainly haven’t heard these tracks before. I love Nikhil Paul George’s voice and sometimes it feels as if he is just riffing and I love it. For me, the back up chorus could have been left out, it was one too many layers. However, I love this song, it just makes me smile so this is a must listen! The video certainly has proved to be a hit with fans!

Kyon is next and from the first strum I thought another happy Barfi! track. Running throughout each of the tracks on this OST is this same feel of a modern intonation, but also a 60s influence to some of the background music that makes them really different and that really shines on ‘Kyon’. Papon is brilliant, love his voice on this song, I actually can’t imagine anyone else singing this great tune. (Did anyone else think of Cary Grant listening to him sing…no, just me? Okay). Sudhini is at her sweet, mellifluous toned best, of course. ‘Kyon’ is just lovely and you should give it a play…definitely gives you a feeling that we are in for some surprises on the silver screen.
The wonderful Rekha Bhardwaj sings Phir Le Aya Dil. Not only are her vocals fabulous, but the music on its own is wonderful, which actually is a bit of a problem. Her classic modulation and deep pitch does not totally match the flow of the music, which I found a bit distracting. The music is mix of different flavors with a very sweet sounding feel. I love the piano and guitar layers with the tinkling tones in the back. To be honest I would rather just listen to the music separately because I loved it. Then hear her sing alone with the deeper parts of the song because I do love her voice. A hit and a miss I would say.

There is also a reprise version of Phir Le Aya Dil, which I liked much better. In fact, this is one of the best on the album for me. Arijit Singh’s vocals are just brilliant and on this version of the song I feel as if the music was deepened to match his voice and it worked so much better. Just love everything about this track, the classic Indian flavored beats in the music with the many layers of percussion and light touches to give it a rich sound. At one point the track transforms to almost a jazzy, classic movie flavor with the piano line and that should seem out of place, but totally does not. This one is really one of Pritam’s best. So many layers and so full of perfect sounds and tones. Just go get it and then be prepared to hit play again. I also think once we see it in the film it will become even more.

Aashiyan, for me, had an Italian or maybe Spanish flavor with its sprightly accordion and flute and the whole overall feeling to the musical arrangement on the track. It is very old-worldy in mood and patina and I think you will know what I mean when you hear it. Shreya Ghoshal has this sparkling tone that just adds so much and is the perfect tone for the music. Also heard is Nikhil Paul George who adds the smooth male vocal, which gives it another layer. ‘Aashiyan’ is great, but at the same time a song that really was unexpected. It will be very interesting to see what is happening on screen, but honestly that is true with every single one of these tracks.

Saawali Si Raat features Arijit Singh again, and again he is wonderful in this more whispery avatar with an extra lightness to his inflections. I would not know it is the same singer if I did not look at the liner notes. He is fabulous. The music is so interesting with so many special little touches to the pretty melodious track. Just a song to get lost in…I did as I was taking notes for this review and had to hit play again. This song is another completely different sound from Pritam who really is showing his incredible range and skill at trying new avenues and reaching for new heights when creating the musical backbone and feeling for the film. I love it!

Director Anurag Basu has said that since Ranbir’s character does not talk, ‘we have six songs in the film that are used to express the protagonists’ feelings without lip-syncing’. The music is part of the way we hear what they are saying. If I was not already totally intrigued and excited to see the film, after hearing the tracks and reading that quote I really, really can’t wait until September 14th gets here! This not your average film and Pritam certainly has created a sweet sounding mix of songs (sorry had to say it once.) As for a rating, since this is not a “classic hit maker” OST but one that is the voice of the film, I am going to base it completely on how good I think the tracks are, the outstanding quality of the signing, how different a sound Pritam has created and most importantly how they will fit into Barfi’s world and for me that makes it 4 stars!
OUR RATING : 4/5

Tuneega.. Tuneega is a not-so-noteworthy offering from a team that boasts of super hits in the past.  Karthik Raja makes his earnest debut, but he could have taken care not to go the cliched route.  Sans inventiveness, except in the case of Dhoodi Pinja Lanti Pilla and Digu Digu Jabilee, the album is a pretty average one.
Ranjith, Balaji, Karthik, Rita, Tippu, Rahul Nambiar add zing to the album.  Sirivennela Seetharama Shastry, Krishna Chaitanya, and a short ditty by Bhuvana Chandra, make the album sound lyrics-wise.
Mike Testing
Artist: Ranjith
Lyricist: Krishna Chaitanya
This is not just a routine intro song but also a typical first song for a first-time hero.  Complete with attitudinal lines, this song tries to project Sumanth Ashwin's debonair personality to the audience.  Ranjith's voice is absolutely up-to-the-mark.  Krishna Chaitanya is at his usual good.  It is Karthik Raja's cacophonous music that is a drag.
Tuneega Tuneega
Artist: Balaji
Lyricist: Krishna Chaitanya
It is difficult to comprehend as to what the lyricist is trying to say, though one may respectfully submit that the lyrics are not without taste.  Balaji's vocals are endearing.  It is Karthik Raja's noisy music that is disquieting though.  People have stopped listening to such music long back.
Digu Digu Jabilee
Artists: Karthik, Rita
Lyricist: Sirivennela Seetharama Shastry
Like in Manasantha Nuvve, Seetharama Shastry pens beautiful poetry for this song.  Karthik's vocals are heart-touching.  Rita's voice does seem offbeat.  Karthik Raja spins a soothing melody that is sure to haunt the romantics amongst you.
Hats off Oyi Brahma
Artist: Tippu
Lyricist: Sirivennela Seetharama Shastry
The hero just saw the girl and started thanking the Creator and his mind-blowing piece of creation.  Despite the neat lyrics of Seetharama Shastry, the song comes across as unnecessarily boisterous.  Tippu's vocals breathe life into this otherwise mediocre musical.
Pedavanchullo Prema
Artist: Rahul Nambiar
Lyricist: Krishna Chaitanya
Karthik Raja serves the purpose of improvising on Illayaraja's music.  This song is a throwback to the music that flew from Kollywood in the 80s.  Rahul Nambiar's vocals and Krishna Chaitanya's lyrics elevate the short ditty.
Ahista Ahista
Artists: Karthik, Rita
Lyricist: Sirivennela Seetharama Shastry
Just as Rita's I.. Love.. You.. seems to drag forever, the number too seems to plumb new musical depths.  What a colossal waste of Seetharama Shastry's talent, as we make a vain bid to make sense of the words!  One wants to say that Karthik Raja should not have been told that the hero in the film is a musician.
Dhoodi Pinja Lanti Pilla
Artist: Rahul Nambiar
Lyricist: Krishna Chaitanya
Quite an enjoyable number, Karthik Raja here makes melancholy a light enterprise.  Sans cacophonous music, Dhoodi Pinja.. is poetic both lyrically and musically.  Krishna Chaitanya's lyrics are refreshing.  Rahul Nambiar's clear voice doesn't have a hint of melodramatic overtones.  One would want to listen again and again.
Merise Ningi
Lyricist: Bhuvana Chandra
This rustic song is folkish.  The chorusal character has a tinge of the '80s music to it.

Allu Arjun and Trivikram are determined to strike back with “Julayi” as their previous films ‘Badrinath’ and ‘Khaleja’ failed at the tills ringing. Both the director Trivikram and Arjun are supposedly burning the extra calories to make this film a hit. ‘Gabbar Singh’ and ‘Racha’ hitting the bull’s eye, Pawan Kalyan and Charan had a great year so far. If Julayi also comes in the hit zone, Mega fans can ask nothing else than joy the success of their heroes. One of the most anticipated film this year “Julayi” audio released by Powerstar Pawan Kalyan yesterday (June 10th). Devi Sri Prasad scored music for the film. Let’s check out the audio review…
Song: Julaayi
Singers: Suchit Sureshan, Priya Hemesh
Lyrics: Rama Jogayya Sastri
Julayi title track is peppy, energetic one blend with mass beats and western beats. Suchit Sureshan sings it with muscularity while, Priya Hamesh pitches well at the end of the song. Penned by Rama Joggaya Sastri, a perfect start for the whole album with DSP mark beats.
Song-Osey Osey
Singer-Jessie Gift
Lyrics-Sri Mani
The song can be labelled as a Telugu Mass-Western track, which takes some hearing before you see yourself humming the lines of the number. Jessie Gift makes it more interesting by shifting to low and high pitches constantly. Sri Mani should be praised for penning funky lyrics “Osey Osey nannu utikesi areyki, osey osey nannu tittesi pomake”.
Song-Chakkani Bike Undi
Singer-Tippu, Megha
Lyrics-Sri Mani
This is a song exclusively for the youth. Lyrics were very well written by Sri Mani. They are not only catchy but also interesting to listen. Though it had Tippu and Megha crooning behind the mike, their voice too didn’t lift the song, an average number in the audio.
Song-Pakdo Pakdo
Singer-Malgadi Subha, Devi Sri Prasad
Lyrics-Rama Jogayya Sastry
DSP came out with a pop flair ‘Pakdo Pakdo Pakdo… Daudo daudo ninu appedi evaru’. This track works well because of the chasy lyrics and catchy tune. Mulgadi Subha is an active singer who sings songs that are full of joy and zest and this is no exception. Nice Track!!!
Song-Mee Inti Mundu
Singer-Sagar, Raina Reddy
Lyricist-Sri Mani
Me Inti Mundu song starts off with beautiful sound that gives a fresh intoxicating sound. While the song continues with the chorus singing along with up-front drums beats and different instrumental sounds, perhaps it shows its most veritable quality. Sri Mani penned very simple lines but catchy ones. And DSP turned this ‘Me Inti Mundu’ into a high-energy piece which is actually interesting to listen.
Song-O Madhu
Singer-Adnan Sami
Lyricist-Devi Sri Prasad
Here comes my favorite track of the album “O Madhu” is fun, but sweet and romantic. Clearly and plainly sung by Adnan Sami, the charming song is cutely written by Devi Sri Prasad. The way the love is expressed in these lyrics sounds so lovely. The rhythm has a steady beat in this instrumental bit and the composition pattern altogether sounds good. Its Adorable track!!
Survi Verdict:
Allu Arjun and DSP share a good rapport. All films that featured the duo together had hit songs. Even Julayi songs are energetic, rhythmic, youthful, enjoyable and romantic. Devi Sri Prasad has the talent to compose a much better album. Still Julayi a Trendy Album to listen to!!
My Picks: O Madhu, Me Inti Mundu, Julayi and Pakdo Pakdo…
Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Gabbar Singh’ has celebrated its audio launch today and the event has been celebrated grandly. Music has been scored by Devi Sri Prasad and the film is carrying incredibly positive reports in the industry. Shruti Haasan is the heroine in this movie and Harish Shankar is the director. Ganesh Babu has produced the film on Parameshwara Art Productions Banner. Let us see how this audio album is.

1, Song: Dekho Dekho Gabbar Singh
Singers: Baba Sehgal, Naveen Madhav
Lyrics : Ramajogayya Sastry. Rap written by Baba Sehgal
This is without doubt the highlight track of the album. Devi Sri has outdone himself with the musical score and Baba Sehgal delivers a solid performance with the vocals. This will most likely be the hero’s introduction song in the film. Ramajogayya Sastry has given this highly addictive number some superb lyrics that suit Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s image perfectly. Fans will go wild with delight after listening to this song.

2.Song: Aakasam Ammayi Ayithe
Singers: Shankar Mahadevan, Gopika Poornima
Lyrics: Chandrabose
This melodious number starts off with a chorus and Shankar Mahadevan takes over after about 30 seconds. DSP’s music is a mix of Indian and Western beats and it complements the mood nicely. There is good scope for a colourful picturization and you can expect Harish Shankar’s trademark visuals here. Chandrabose has done a decent job with the lyrics. A good song overall.

3.Song: Mandu Babulam
Singers: Kota Srinivasa Rao and chorus
Lyrics: Sahithi
This bit number will go on to gain legendary status among drinkers and in ‘Kallu compounds’. Veteran actor Kota Srinivasa Rao garu has lent his voice to this song and he does a marvelous job. His vocals are highly effective and he has rendered the lyrics with a lot of soul. Sahithi’s lyrics are simple and effective. DSP has given a very mass beat for this track and fans can expect some super steps from Pawan here.

4.Song: Pilla
Singers: Power Star Pawan Kalyan, Vaddepalli Srinivas
Lyrics: DSP
This solo number starts off with Pawan uttering a few dialogues in his trademark style. Vaddepalli Srinivas has sung this song with a lot of energy and his performance is perfectly complemented by a very rustic and peppy track from Devi Sri. This song will come in at a time when the hero tries to woo the heroine. Lyrics have been penned by Devi Sri himself and they are pretty entertaining. Overall, this is a very peppy song and it will become very popular among fans and mass song lovers.

5.Song: Dil Se
Singers: Karthik, Shwetha Mohan
Lyrics: Bhaskara Bhatla
This melodious number starts off with good instrumental music. Karthik and Shwetha Mohan have done a good job with the vocals and DSP’s music is nicely melodious. Bhaskara Bhatla’s lyrics are ok. Expect the song to be shot in exotic foreign locales. This number is very pleasant to listen to and will make a very good impression the first time itself.

6.Song: Kevvu Keka
Singers: Mamata Sharma, Murali
Lyrics: Sahithi
This is the item song of the movie and Malaika Arora Khan will sizzle in this number just like in the Bollywood version, Dabangg. The song has ultra mass beats and Mamata Sharma has delivered a spirited performance with the vocals. Sahithi’s lyrics and simple yet provocative. Devi Sri’s music is aimed right at the front benchers and you can expect a highly energetic choreography. This number will become very popular in B and C centers.

Verdict :
With the audio album of Gabbar Singh, Devi Sri has scored a superb entertainer that has a nice mix of class and mass songs. The numbers are perfectly in sync with Pawan’s image and body language and they will appeal hugely to fans and mass movie lovers. ‘Dekho Dekho Gabbar Singh’ is going to be an instant chartbuster. Apart from that, ‘Dil Se’ and ‘Pilla’ are my favourites. ‘Mandu Babulam’ will gain cult status. Congratulations to Power Star Pawan and DSP. They have a winner on their hands

Young Tiger NTR is going to hit the screens this summer with his mass entertainer ‘Dhammu’ and the audio album of this movie has been launched today (29th March) at a star studded ceremony in Shilpa Kala Vedika. Music has been composed by Keeravani and lyrics for all the songs have been written by Chandrabose. Let us see how the audio album is.
1, Song: Oh Lilly
Singers: Baba Sehgal
Lyrics : Chandrabose
This is an out and out mass number that has been rendered with great energy by Baba Sehgal. The song is aimed at the front benchers and expect some incredible dances from NTR for this number. The song grows on you with time and with good picturization, this number has the potential to be a big hit. Chandrabose’s lyrics do the job and Keeravani’s music is perfect for the mood of the song.

2.Song: Ruler
Singers: Prudhvi Chandra, Geetha Madhuri, Revanth, Sahiti
Lyrics: Chandrabose
This is undoubtedly the highlight song of the album. The number starts off with a very unique chant of the hero’s different facets. The tempo slowly builds up and all of a sudden, Keeravani’s rousing score erupts onto the scene, creating a very strong impact on the listener. Geetha Madhuri’s vocals elevate the song to a new level. Sources say that this song has been picturized quite spectacularly and movie lovers are in for a treat. Superb stuff from Keeravani.

3.Song: Raja Vasireddy
Singers: M.M.Keeravani, Krishna Chaitanya
Lyrics: Chandrabose
This is a classic village celebration song where the people celebrate the homecoming of their favourite leader. Chandrabose’s lyrics are aimed at elevating the image of the hero’s character and they work. Keeravani and Krishna Chaitanya are ok with the vocals. Music is a mix of rustic tunes and modern instruments. Expect a very colourful picturization with lots of flowers flying about in the air.

4.Song: Vastu Bagunde
Singers: Rahul Sipligunj, Sravana Bhargavi
Lyrics: Chandrabose
Vastu Bagunde is a vintage Keeravani mass number. Instantly likeable and highly energetic, this song is likely to feature some incredible dance moves from NTR. This is the song which has 4 heroines and you can safely expect a very commercial picturization for this number. Chandrabose does an ok job with the lyrics and the vocals are rendered with good energy by the singers. But the biggest asset for the song is Keeravani’s music.

5.Song: Dhammu
Singers: Rahul Sipligunj, Sravana Bhargavi, Shivani
Lyrics: Chandrabose
Once again, this title track is aimed squarely at the front benchers. The tunes are earthy and the lyrics are extremely rustic, lending a very folkish feel to the song. Chandrabose’s lyrics act as fillers and they have no rhyme or reason. Keeravani’s tunes give ample scope for a highly energetic dance sequence. Nothing extra-ordinary, but not bad.

Verdict :
During the audio function, ace director S.S.Rajamouli had this to say about Dhammu audio album. “It has been a long time since we have had a 100 % commercial mass album. Dhammu is the answer to that”.  That perfectly sums up Dhammu’s audio track for you. Boyapati Sreenu and Keeravani have come out with an audio album that is very clear about the movie’s intentions. This is a solid commercial album and the songs are energetic, catchy and aimed at sending the front benchers into a delightful frenzy. ‘Ruler’, ‘Vastu Bagunde’ and ‘Raja Vasireddy’ are my favourites. Looks like NTR has a winner on his hands.
